Clarifications & Definitions

The following terms and conditions govern the scope of our technical drafting, 3D modeling, and visualization services. These provisions are intended to prevent ambiguous interpretations and establish clear boundaries of responsibility.

Model Accuracy & Tolerances

  • Geometric precision: All 3D models are built to a standard tolerance of ±2 mm for architectural elements and ±5 mm for site topography, unless a tighter tolerance is explicitly agreed upon in writing.
  • Material representation: Surface textures and reflectance values are based on manufacturer data sheets or client-provided samples. We do not guarantee exact on-site appearance under all lighting conditions.
  • Simulation outputs: Sunlight, shadow, and glare analyses are computed using validated simulation engines. Results represent predicted performance under typical meteorological data and may vary with actual weather patterns.

Scope of Deliverables

  • File formats: Standard delivery includes .RVT, .DWG, and .IFC for BIM models, plus .OBJ or .FBX for mesh geometry. Additional formats may incur extra processing time.
  • Visualization resolution: Rendered images are produced at 1920×1080 pixels unless a higher resolution is specified. Panoramic or VR-ready outputs require a separate scope agreement.
  • Revisions: Two rounds of minor revisions are included per deliverable. Major scope changes (e.g., altering building footprint or floor count) will be treated as a new project phase.

Data & Reference Materials

  • Client-provided inputs: We rely on accurate site surveys, floor plans, and elevation drawings supplied by the client. Any errors or omissions in source documents are outside our liability.
  • Third-party data: Where geolocation, climate files, or zoning regulations are used, we source from public databases. Verification of regulatory compliance remains the responsibility of the project architect or engineer.
  • Confidentiality: All project data is handled under a standard non-disclosure agreement. We do not share raw models or renderings with third parties without written consent.

Limitations of Liability

  • Design decisions: Our models and visualizations are analytical tools. Final design decisions, including structural, mechanical, and life-safety elements, rest with the licensed professionals of record.
  • Construction discrepancies: Field conditions may differ from digital models. We recommend on-site verification of critical dimensions before fabrication or construction.
  • Software compatibility: While we use industry-standard platforms, we cannot guarantee full interoperability with all third-party plugins or legacy software versions.

General Provision

These clarifications form an integral part of any service agreement with Wtmurl. In the event of a conflict between these definitions and a separately signed contract, the terms of that contract shall prevail. No verbal amendments are recognized unless confirmed in writing by both parties.
